Outer Banks Wedding - Melissa and Paul - May 2010

Melissa and Paul tied the knot on a lovely May afternoon in Duck. The beach ceremony was perfect, and everyone danced the night away under a brightly decorated tent on the lawn of their event home. We had been in touch with Melissa's mom Laura throughout the planning process, and she couldn't have been more lovely to work with. She called us about a week before the wedding to ask if we could also do video as a surprise for Melissa! What a wonderful gift!

Brenda Zeigler coordinated the wedding and did an amazing job. She was everywhere, always making sure we knew what was going on and when, and that we enjoyed some amazing food from Red Sky Cafe!

It was obvious that Melissa and Paul are head over heels for each other. I have to say (and hope Melissa won't mind), that I felt like she was a little on edge before the ceremony. She was stuck in the house's master bedroom, with guests filling in just outside her door, and she just seemed anxious to get the show on the road! I say all of this because, standing out on the beach and watching Melissa get her first glimpse of Paul, you could see her entire demeanor change. She was instant smiles as pure happiness washed over her. From then on, Melissa and Paul seemed not to have a care in the world other than being together.

They shared their first dance together to Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight," a personal favorite of mine, and the rest is history! Congrats!
